All creative practices nourish our soul. And there are so many. Art, poetry, singing, crochet, ceramics, music to name a few. Take your pick.
Personally, I have always been into movement of all kinds. I discovered belly dance in my early twenties. I don't know what drew me to it. But it was lucky that I was. And discovering Tantra later on was also " lucky" because the two go together like peas and carrots. Complementing each other beautifully. Belly dance can be very helpful for those seeking to connect with their sexuality because movement is a way you can "reawaken" parts of your body. It's also fantastic for assisting Kundalini awakening. There are many other aspects to that, but it's helpful. How does it do that? By moving a part of your body, you're bringing blood flow to that part, igniting the nerve endings and more. Team that with some inner focus and intention, a little breath work and more and you have a powerful team to re awaken aspects of yourself that have been sleeping or hiding.

So how can belly dance be used as a tool for growth? Well, we've already heard how movement and belly dance can be used to help you connect to your sexuality and awaken Kundalini. It can also be used to express heavy emotions, thus releasing them. Combined with embodiment practices, It can help you to connect to emotions you want to express too. Perhaps there are parts of you that you want to express, but feel unable to. There are many ways to connect to this. Through music, embodiment practices, meditation, sacred drama and more. All creative practices can help you release and connect to expressions and emotions. And by expressing them through movement and intention, you implant them in your body. It's the most powerful way to create change within yourself. By moving with intention, you ultimately bring them into reality.
I would love to show you more. Every online workshop I offer works with these principals. And I will be offering some free online tasters on my Youtube channel soon.
